Stroryline: Mahadev (Shreyas Talpade) is a B.A. pass, but unable to find a job, is forced to make a living writing letters for the uneducated people of his village. His real ambition is to become a novel writer. Though only a villager, Mahadev has the potential to change lives. How he can do this is shown in this satirical take on an Indian village.
Mahadev’s childhood crush Kamla (Amrita Rao) is desperate for communication from her husband Banshi Ram (Kunal Kapoor). A jealous Mahadev writes completely the opposite of the loving messages Kamla wants to give, while faking what her husband has written to her. There is a harried mother (Ila Arun) who wants to get her manglik daughter married, a eunuch Munni who is contesting the elections for the village Sarpanch but is tired of the danger to her life by an opposing candidate, and a love-lorn doctor (Ravi Kishan) who is crazy about the widowed daughter-in-law of a retired army soldier and many other letters. Mahadev manages to get his friend engaged, police protection for Munni, and almost kisses Kamla before they are interrupted. However Munni is killed, and he learns a shocking truth about Kamla’s husband

Stroryline: Champak Chaturvedi runs a theatrical troupe in India. He hires two men, Bunty – a graduate in Arts, and Babla- who cannot read nor write English. One has to play the role of the play’s hero, while one the villain. Both men end up squabbling with each other, as both want the hero’s part. Then Champak finds out that Bunty has molested the play’s heroine, Anjali, and punishes him. The group gets a contract to stage 30 plays in Britain, however, on the day of the departure, Anjali opts out, leaving Champak no alternative but to travel without a heroine, but hoping to recruit one while in Britain. Upon arrival, Babla sets about to find a suitable heroine from the Indian population, but Bunty beats him to it and recruits a woman named Munni. Babla has his suitcase switched by another containing heroin, and as a result both men end being suspects by the local Police, whose Commissioner is an Indian, J.D. Mehra. Then both Munni and Bunty fall in love with each other. Then Munni has an accident with a vehicle and ends up in a hospital. When she regains her senses, she tells everyone that she is Nisha Chauhan, and is married to Vikram, who lives in Liverpool. Vikram arrives, thanks everyone, and takes his wife, who has suicidal tendencies, home. A few days later, Bunty receives a phone call from a frantic Nisha, who tells him to come over immediately. He, along with Champak and Babla, arrive there to find her body in flames. She is declared dead in hospital. Now the troupe is on the hunt for another heroine for their play – when the unexplainable happens – as Bunty claims that he saw Nisha. No one believes him, but then subsequently a terrified Champak and then a bewildered Babla both claim to have seen her. These sighting hurl the trio in a non-stop chaotic situation involving drug dealers, goons who want revenge, as well as the Police Commissioner himself, who also has a role to play in this comedy of errors and terrors.

Stroryline: After the passing away of his wife, wealthy Delhi-based businessman, Harishchandra, took it upon himself to bring up two sons, Sunil and Prem. When they grew up he got Sunil married to Bhavna, and let Prem complete his education, even let him study abroad. Soon Sunil and Bhavna gave birth to a son, Rahul. When Bhagat told him that he had found a suitable match for Prem in Poonam, the niece of Krishnakant, a fruit merchant from Madhupur, Uttar Pradesh, the family traveled there, met with Krishnakant, his wife, Rama, and daughter, Rajni, and instantly approved of Poonam. Prem and Poonam also approved of each other, the Astrologer was consulted and a marriage was scheduled to take place in six months time. Shortly thereafter the engagement took place. The two families met again in Som Sarovar, Nainital, to let everyone get acquainted, and when Prem got his first contract from Japan, Krishnakant took his family to Delhi to celebrate. With the deadline for the marriage drawing close, both families start their respective preparations – not knowing that fate may have other plans in store for this young couple.

After working for the channel that in turn changes his life, he decides to quit, however it is brought to his attention by a Turkish commando Rizwan Khan (Vivek Oberoi), that others who have quit had been killed for knowing too much. It becomes a battle – which will win, the sword or the pen?

Stroryline: Siddharth Mathur, a shy young scientist, travels to Mauritius for his elder brother Harsh’s wedding. Accompanying him is his Ma, a reluctant traveller since she is angry at Harsh for deciding to get married without consulting them. Also travelling is Siddharth’s cheery father, whose sole entertainment is pulling Ma’s leg.
Harsh, pre-occupied with work, can spend little time with his family and it is left to his fiancee Aaliyah to show them around Mauritius before the wedding. However, Ma’s anger at Harsh ensures that she takes an instant dislike for Aaliyah, and it is Aaliyah and Siddharth who end up spending loads of time together. This, added to the fact that Aaliyah feels neglected by the career-obsessed Harsh, leads to them being irresistibly drawn to each other. A horrified Siddharth battles this attraction desperately, but Aaliyah has fallen madly in love and pursues him with single-minded determination. When Siddharth’s defences start crumbling and Ma starts getting suspicious, all hell breaks loose in the Mathur family…The movie is a fun romantic comedy with lots of moments that will make you cry and smile at the same time.

That’s when things start to change.
